Overview

Opportunity: Field Plant Engineer. Contract: Permanent. Location: Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: £36,339 – £38,153 + overtime. Overtime payable as appropriate.

What you will do

  • Attend breakdowns, fault finding and completing planned preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure customer service is maintained to a high standard and address queries.
  • Complete job activity electronically.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and stocked with correct parts.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships through high standards of service.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and customer/Briggs Equipment policies.
  • Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol and electrically powered small plant.
