The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to growth in our Engineering team, we are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our supportive and friendly team in Lisburn.
We are keen to see CV's from candidates who have experience within one of the following sectors: forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV's, passenger carrying vehicles or similar machinery.
In this role you will be:
- Servicing and maintaining diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment
- Fault finding, completing planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks
- Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
- Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment
- Completing job activity electronically and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered
- Ensuring customer relationships are maintained and developed through high standards of service
What will help you to excel in this role:
- NVQ Level 3 or relevant technical qualification
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles
- The ability to work independently and under pressure
- The ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Understanding customer needs
