The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
An excellent opportunity has become available to join the Engineering Services South East regional team based in our head office in Northampton. Along with the normal estimating duties, the candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the tender process ensuring the required deadlines are met.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Production of detailed tender bids and cost plans
- Attending mid and post tender meetings
- Interfacing with both existing and prospective new clients
- Communication with sub-contractor and supplier companies, using existing companies and generating new leads
Requirements:
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of all aspects of Electrical building services
- Attend, present and chair both internal and external meetings
- Ensure all tender documents have been reviewed and understood (i.e. Prelims, T&C’s, BREEAM, Fire Strategy, Acoustics, BIM etc.)
- Willing and able to work as part of a team with personal skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment
- Commercial acumen to ensure tenders are financially sound
- Make sure M&E abnormal are included for both disciplines
- Pro-active and approachable
- Agree strategy for use of names specialists or ‘equal’ alternatives detailed within the documents
