The Role
Early involvement in projects evaluating BMS and metering requirements whilst looking for the most cost-effective solutions. Compilation of scope documents and specification to enable us to get accurate tenders from our BMS and metering supply chain.
Assisting Project Team with tender evaluations and the selection of suitable sub-contract specialists to carry out the controls work. Involvement with tender evaluations and post tender interviews.
Review and assist in the development of panel drawings and description of operations, carry out FAT panel inspections. With site visits monitor and report on the technical compliance and quality of BMS and metering installations throughout the construction stages.
Review and comment on:
During the commissioning phase of the project witness sample point to point checks, track and keep a record of commissioning progress and agree any extra measures required with the Project Manager.
Prior to project handover, carry out a 100% witnessing of the BMS and metering functionality, checking against the final and approved description of operation ensuring we hand over a fully compliant fault free BMS and metering system.
Assist with seasonal commissioning visits and the evaluations of building systems performance. Assist our Customer Care department and project teams with any problems of defects that arise during our defect’s liability period.
