Overview: This Brigg Scientific Client is a contract testing establishment in Birmingham and they are looking for a Lab Technician to support their Analytical testing team.
Responsibilities:
- Wet Chemistry Analysis involving titration, pH testing, moisture and conductivity.
- Sample preparation for further HPLC analysis.
- Accurate record keeping.
- Responsibility for testing sign off.
- General Lab stewardship.
- Following regulated quality systems.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will have a background in Scientific education or work experience. Applications are welcomed from recent graduates of the Sciences; those with Chemistry focused degrees will have a distinct advantage.
Employment details: The role starts initially as a temporary role for a 6 month period, but may become permanent for the right candidate. Salary will be between £24,000 and £25,000. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
