This Brigg Scientific client is a major food manufacturer based in York, who are looking to recruit an experienced contract microbiologist for an immediate start.

To guarantee success in this role you will need to display the following:
* Aseptic technique for sample prep, plating & sub-culturing
* Attention to detail / accuracy
* Flexibility to react to the needs of the department and plan workload
* Experience of working to ISO17025 / GLP
* Exposure to a fast-paced work environment
* Food microbiology testing experience will be an advantage
* Project and investigative work
