This Brigg Scientific client is a Forensic Services company based in West London. They are seeking a Laboratory Technician to fulfil a Temporary role for 6 months with the view to a Permanent role for the right candidate.

Duties include:

  • Responsibility for receiving samples arriving daily
  • Sorting samples, labelling and entering data onto LIMS
  • Sample preparation including degassing and aliquoting
  • Sample testing including TLC and prep for HPLC
  • Sample storage and control
  • Supporting Senior Analytical Scientists
  • General Lab Stewardship

Successful candidates will have a Scientific degree and be available within 2 weeks as this is an immediate start role. Any Lab experience would be a distinct advantage; however, recent graduates with no experience will also be considered and full training is given.

Pay rate will be £12.21/hr. Hours are 7-3 Monday to Friday.
