Their Labs perform many testing functions including Analytical Chemistry, Toxicology, Drug analysis and DNA work.
They currently have a vacancy in their Analytical Chemistry Purity testing Lab. The role will start on a temporary agency contract, but should become permanent for the right candidate.
Key duties include:
* Day to day sample preparation for analysis including: TLC, HPLC, and GC-MS
* Using a wide range of extraction techniques
* Associated Wet Chemistry techniques and liquid handling for the preparation of Laboratory standards
* Upkeep of Lab document records
* Working to tight deadlines
* Routine monitoring and quality checks on Analytical Instrumentation
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HPLC or GC from a University project or work placement and be keen to pursue a career in the Forensics field.
Applications are encourage from recently Qualified graduates.
The role is Monday to Friday working 7am - 3pm.
Pay rate is £12.21/hr.
The role is offered as an initial Temporary contract, but the role should lead to a permanent position for the right candidate
