This Brigg Scientific client is a Food testing Laboratory in Derby and they are looking to add a new Lab Technician to their testing team. The role will involve:

  • Incoming sample preparation.
  • Microbiology testing.
  • Use of Aseptic Techniques.
  • Wet Chemistry Techniques.
  • Associated Lab Technician work.
  • Quality paperwork.

No specific experience is necessary as full training will be given; however, applicants should have some kind of education within a Science subject from A Level or degree, or have a good interest in the Sciences. Applications are invited from recently qualified Graduates looking for their first role. Shift involves working 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday. The role starts initially as a Temporary contract and has a pay rate of £12.71/hr.
