As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Engineering team at our Applegarth facility in Dartford.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that support Brigade's products, services and continued innovation.

The Position

Reporting to the Group Head of Programmes and Product Support, you will be responsible for developing and applying project management tools and techniques to deliver New Product Introduction (NPI) projects on time.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will manage project scope, plans and delivery, ensuring projects are completed to agreed objectives while supporting Brigade's engineering teams and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply standard project management methodologies to support the successful delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Define project scopes and objectives, engaging internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project delivery against agreed scope, ensuring progress is understood and project teams are aware of responsibilities.
  • Create and maintain project plans and documentation.
  • Assess project requirements to support successful delivery.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedules and costs where applicable.
  • Report and escalate project status concerns when required.
  • Ensure quality standards are achieved throughout project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
  • Represent Brigade professionally and support exhibitions, seminars and workshops as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Project Manager experience within a technical or engineering environment, or experience leading engineering teams.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams within a project delivery (lifecycle management) environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Understanding of working with OEM and Tier 1 customers.
  • A solid technical background with experience of working within a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple activities.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with excellent self-management skills.
  • BTEC, HNC/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in an Engineering or Science discipline.
  • PRINCE2 or formal Project Management training.
