Brigade Electronics, a global market leader in reversing safety and all-round visibility for commercial vehicles, is looking for a motivated and technically minded Junior Product Manager to support the Senior Product Manager in maximising the growth of our product category. This role will provide crucial technical and administrative support to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales technical support, fault diagnostics, and issue resolution, interfacing with customers, sales subsidiaries, quality, and RD&T teams.
  • Conduct pre-launch product installation, testing, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Evaluate competitor products and conduct market research, maintaining and updating a competitive database.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Management Services team to ensure product suitability for integration and compatibility with Brigade services.
  • Conduct customer visits for trials and issue resolution.
  • Proactively manage stakeholders.
  • Support the new product release gate process.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a B2B product management or technical support environment, interacting with sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
  • Proven knowledge of Digital Video Recorder (DVR) technology, both offline and online, with competence in client/server and cloud solutions, and associated 4G and WiFi connectivity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail in planning, execution, and follow-through.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, driven, and a team player.
  • Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours when required.
