Brigade Electronics, a global market leader in commercial vehicle and mobile plant safety, is seeking an experienced Group Reporting Accountant to take ownership of group financial management information and statutory reporting across our international organisation. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a pivotal role within the Group Finance Team, providing technical expertise, leadership on consolidation, and ensuring robust, compliant, and insightful financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical accounting and reporting expertise to the Group Finance Team
- Lead the consolidation of group entities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of group statutory accounts
- Act as the key liaison with Group auditors (PKF)
- Lead and support finance-related system consolidation projects
Management Information & Statutory Reporting
- Prepare all management, statistical and statutory reporting for Brigade Holdings Limited and Brigade Electronics Group PLC within agreed deadlines
- Produce consolidated management and statutory accounts, including:
- Intercompany eliminations
- Goodwill accounting
- Consolidated cash flow statements
- Accounting for acquisitions and disposals
Group Finance & Governance
- Drive consistency and continuous improvement in management accounting formats and KPIs across the group
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring and support to management accountants
- Assist with the coordination of the annual budgeting process
- Maintain the Financial Procedures Manual and its alignment with QMS requirements
- Prepare financial data for quarterly bank reporting
About You
- Strong experience in management and statutory reporting
- Proven experience of group consolidations and group accounts
- Solid working knowledge of Business Central and advanced Excel
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Experience working in a multi-entity, international group environment is desirable.
