Brigade Electronics, a global market leader in reversing safety and all‑round visibility for commercial vehicles, is seeking an experienced Product Development & Applications Technician to support the research, testing, and application of innovative vehicle safety products across our global markets. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will play a key role in bridging product design and real‑world application, ensuring our technologies are practical, efficient, and deliver outstanding performance for installers and end‑users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct product and system testing, evaluation, verification, and validation
  • Provide vehicle‑related technical expertise to support product development and resolve integration issues
  • Lead and support vehicle installations, field trials, and prototype builds
  • Perform benchmarking, tear‑down analysis, and troubleshooting of new and existing technologies
  • Support engineering documentation, updates, and technical training activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve installation efficiency and system performance

About You

  • Experienced and hands‑on with vehicle electrical systems (HGV experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of analogue/digital circuits and vehicle interfaces
  • Skilled in fault finding, installation, and electrical diagnostics
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and technical reporting
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with a practical, resourceful mindset
