Company Role Brierley J are retained by a leading conservation and restoration contractor who are looking to appoint a Contracts Manager. Their turnover is circa £10 million with around 60 direct employees. They have strong staff retention and maintain a culture of promoting from within. As an employee-owned business, they are collectively working together to achieve success with employee sharing in that success.
Originally based in the Northeast, they have successfully opened a second office in Yorkshire where they are going from strength to strength delivering fitout projects across the heritage, education and local government sectors. Clients include Universities, Local Authorities, English Heritage and Private developers. Projects involve modernising historic buildings and repurposing them to enhance their value for customers.
To sustain their growing workload, they are keen to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to their senior management team in Yorkshire to lead across multiple projects, producing and managing complex programmes, managing a direct workforce and subcontractors, contributing to work planning, briefing project teams, contractors and suppliers, attending project meetings, producing progress reports, forecasting works and managing project documentation. You will be involved with projects from inception in order for you to take full ownership of delivery.
