Brierley J are currently recruiting for a well-established design consultancy who design and construct buildings across the world. The practice works across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, infrastructure, leisure, commercial and retail on projects valued up to £300 million.

They are looking to recruit a dedicated Commercial Contracts Manager to join their Operations team. This role works alongside the Quality Director and Senior Contracts Lead in managing the contracts for all the design and construction projects in a timely and efficient manner.

The role requires someone to prepare, review, and track all contract related information from receipt to approval, providing an initial review of contract terms and conditions and highlighting areas of concern.

Day to day you will liaise with the Senior Contracts Lead, the Quality Director, Project Directors, insurers and various stakeholders, such as clients, project managers, and contractors, to agree contract terms and conditions and ensure that all parties are aware of their contractual obligations and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.

You will be involved with contract negotiations, maintain a database of contract related information, draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and manage project files and documentation as well as reviewing and getting involved in the preparation of tender proposals.

Through your work you will be able to highlight areas for quality and efficiency improvements and will also be supporting the third party audits of the business as required.
