This highly rated London-based law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) to join its growing and highly regarded Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss team.
About the team
They act for major UK and global insurers on complex, high-value defendant personal injury claims. The work includes catastrophic injury, brain and spinal injuries, amputation cases, and large loss motor and liability claims.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of high-value and complex personal injury claims, working closely with partners and senior associates on large-scale matters. The role includes:
Running your own caseload of large loss and serious injury matters (with appropriate supervision) Assisting on catastrophic injury files with values exceeding £1m+ Liaising directly with insurer clients, medical experts, and counsel Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and instructions to counsel Attending conferences, JSMs, and mediations
About You
They are looking for someone who is passionate about personal injury defence and ready to build a career in a technically demanding and rewarding area of law.
Requirements:
NQ–4 years’ PQE, ideally gained at a recognised defendant PI practice Strong experience in serious injury or large loss matters Excellent technical and analytical skills Confident in dealing directly with insurer clients
