Overview
At the heart of this role is a focus on first class service and account management, and it will be your responsibility to ensure customers receive this high level of service while maximising opportunities to develop the Foodservice market further. Reporting directly into the Sales Director Foodservice National Accounts, you will manage an existing customer portfolio of National Wholesalers and distributors, Contract Caterers, Travel sector and Restaurant Groups, and identify and develop new business targets within the Foodservice sector. You will also be involved in negotiating contracts, Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and trade promotions, and delivering budget and forecast reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage an existing portfolio of National Wholesalers and distributors, Contract Caterers, Travel sector, and Restaurant Groups.
- Identify and develop new business targets within the Foodservice sector.
- Negotiate contracts, JBPs, and trade promotions; deliver budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with product development teams as needed; stay informed on food trends and NPD ideas.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of developing sales and building strong customer relationships within a Foodservice account management position.
- Experience with Foodservice End User customers within branded or private label food or drink environments is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and with customers.
- Well-organised team player with drive, motivation, and enthusiasm to achieve sales and deliver success for Bridor.
