The Foundation Learning Department for learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), barriers to learning and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) is based across three campuses: Bridgwater, Cannington and Taunton. It offers high-quality tailored programmes designed to meet the individual needs of learners.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for learners with additional support needs to overcome their barriers to learning. The post holder will develop exciting opportunities to enhance the learner experience, raise aspirations and impact positively on their ready to learn behaviours.

The role will focus on supporting learners to realise their potential through empowering and engaging learners, developing employability skills, promoting independence and planning for their next steps to progress seamlessly into education, employment or training.
