We are now seeking a committed and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor Assistant (MDSA) to join our friendly and supportive team.

Part time: 8.75 hours per week (11:45 – 13:30, Monday to Friday) | 38 weeks per year (Term Time Only)

Salary: BTC Scale Point 2, actual salary £5,368.26 per annum.

The Role

As a Midday Supervisor Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that lunchtimes are safe, enjoyable and positive for all pupils. You will support children in the dining hall and playground, helping to create an environment where they can eat, play and socialise safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall and playground
  • Supporting children with positive play and social interactions
  • Helping to set up and clear dining areas
  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging respectful relationships
  • Ensuring the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of all pupils at all times
  • Administering basic first aid when required (training will be provided)

Previous experience in a similar role would be welcomed but is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
