Maiden Beech Academy converted to a Primary School in September 2022 and is a part of the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed team, supporting our mission to put children first and help them achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to support pupils' learning, development, and well-being. You will be integral in promoting independence, self-esteem, and inclusion within the classroom and school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted support to pupils to help them access the curriculum and reach learning milestones.
- Assist in implementing individual education and behaviour plans.
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting engagement and self-confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver enriching and inclusive learning experiences.
- Support behaviour management strategies and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support children’s progress.
