Brymore Academy is a State Boarding School for boys aged 11-17 set in its own 60-acre site with a working farm, gardens, workshops and sports facilities which are fully utilised in the delivery of the curriculum to over 320 students, of which 130 are boarders.
Hours: Casual hours basis to include afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Salary: £10.88-12.53 per hour.
The outdoor swimming pool on site has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and we are pleased to be able to offer this facility to our students, staff, and the community. We are now recruiting lifeguards to supervise the pool while in operation during curriculum, after school and community hours.
We welcome applicants who are NPLQ qualified, but also individuals who are competent swimmers, as we may be able to support with the necessary training. For those interested who don’t possess an NPLQ, we are running a course at Brymore Academy, Sunday 13th - Thursday 17th April inclusive and can offer a complimentary space - please email for further information.
The main purpose of this role is ensuring the safe operation of the swimming pool, mainly during afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidates will have a passion to work in a sports/leisure environment, possess good communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to show high levels of enthusiasm and professionalism, while acting as a suitable role model for youngsters.
