Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team. Putting students first is part of our fundamental culture. Role details
- 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time, plus INSET days)
- BTCT Points 7-9, Starting on Point 7. Actual Salary: £22,510.67 per annum
- Fixed Term Contract for 24 months
About the role
This role involves the supervision and guidance of whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. This role will also involve invigilating exams and accompanying staff and pupils on educational visits. The post would be excellent training for anyone considering a career in teaching specifically or working with young people in general.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Manage student behaviour in accordance with Academy policies.
- Ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.
