Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a committed Cleaning Supervisor to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our large all-through school site. Working closely with the Site Manager/Head Caretaker, you will oversee the cleaning team and ensure high standards are consistently met in line with Health & Safety requirements. 35 hours per week, 44 weeks per year, Permanent Salary: Band 3, Points 3-4. Actual starting salary: Β£22,561.78 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support cleaning staff, ensuring quality and timekeeping.
- Allocate work areas and monitor cleaning standards.
- Provide induction and training for new staff and maintain records.
- Manage stock levels of materials and equipment.
- Ensure safe use and storage of cleaning products (COSHH).
- Conduct regular site inspections and report any damage.
