About the role:
- School Location: The National Mathematics and Science College, Coventry, CV4 8JB
- Working Days: 3 days a week including weekends on a rota basis
- Shifts & Working hours: Shifts either 6.30am-3pm or 11.30am-8pm (Monday- Friday) Saturday & Sunday 9.30am-3.30pm or 1pm-8pm
- Total hours 25 per week (overtime available)
- Working Weeks: 43 weeks per year
What you’ll be doing:
- As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support our high-standard catering teams, helping deliver fresh, beautifully presented meals to students in our independent schools.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks to a high standard
- Assisting with plating, presentation, and counter service
- Supporting the kitchen team with food prep
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and dining area
- Providing friendly and professional service to all students and staff
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in catering or hospitality (School catering is preferable but not essential)
- A passion for food and high standards
- Teamwork skills and reliability
- Flexible approach to working hours to support school schedules
