Brief Summary
To ensure all goods entering BNAL are booked in accurately, all visiting drivers are compliant with site safety rules, and all loads are booked out correctly. The role maintains accurate weighbridge records, supports Material Handling operations, and ensures safe, compliant and efficient movement of goods across the site.
Main Duties
- Operate and manage the Avery Weighman system to accurately measure and record weights
- Identify and resolve issues in the weighing process
- Conduct regular inspections and basic maintenance of weighbridge equipment
- Ensure compliance with weight regulations and industry standards
- Record vehicle weights, driver details (including passports for despatch), load information and issue weighbridge tickets
- Maintain accurate records of all weighbridge transactions
- Book in and out dross, skips and environmental deliveries
