Duties and Responsibilities
Main Duties: The primary task of this role is to maintain the chemistry laboratory within the BAL R&D centre and carry out routine testing to support the BAL production processes. In addition, this role is required to deliver technical research projects from design to reporting stages. Projects may range from short-term investigations supporting daily business issues to longer-term product or process development projects. This role requires working both individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge
- Essential: Degree in a chemistry or related scientific discipline.
- Desirable: Further degree (MSc/ PhD) in Chemistry related field (analytical, industrial, etc.); Experience in an analytical laboratory of minimum 2-3 years; Experience in managing scientific investigative projects and reporting outcomes.
