Role Overview: As a Furniture Sales Consultant, you will operate in a standalone role, taking full ownership of customer engagement across the showroom. You will be the driving force behind creating exceptional customer experiences and delivering strong sales performance. Your ability to initiate meaningful conversations, follow up persistently, and make every customer feel genuinely valued will be key to your success. You will be driven by targets, with a determination not just to meet them but to consistently exceed them. Whether guiding a customer through the showroom or connecting with them over the phone, you will create an experience where customers feel heard, understood, and confident in their investment with Bridgman.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed revenue targets across both showroom and phone sales by leveraging your expertise in customer engagement for face-to-face interactions, telephone conversations, and live video consultations.

Who We’re Looking For: You are a confident, self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a standalone environment and takes genuine pride in owning your results. Comfortable working independently, you are organised, accountable, and energised by working towards and exceeding targets. You are naturally engaging and commercially minded, with a proven ability to build trust quickly and convert opportunities into sales. You remain positive and proactive during quieter trading periods, using initiative to generate leads and drive activity. Above all, you are genuinely passionate about selling and about the products you represent. You are articulate, confident, and entirely comfortable working on your own for the majority of your time, taking responsibility for the showroom and for your own diary and activity. You are trustworthy and dependable, with the integrity to represent a premium, family-owned brand without close supervision. This role would suit someone with existing sales experience, or someone who is determined to build a strong sales career and can demonstrate the drive and confidence to do so.
