Requirements:
- Preferably having fast interior fit out background and live within approx 1 hour commute to our office in Fradley Park.
- Experience in retail, leisure and interior fit out desirable.
- Experience of both new fit out and trading refurbishment.
- Ability to deliver multiple projects at any one time under framework / Schedule of Rates.
- Project values typically from £100k - £1m with duration 3 – 8 weeks.
- Responsible for all commercial aspects from producing feasibility costs, tender returns, sub-contractor procurement, project cost reporting and final accounts.
- Must be comfortable in client facing situations and represent the business in a professional and articulate manner.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and be diligent in review of tender documents in order to capture all client requirements.
- Office based with travel to UK project sites.
- Capable of carrying out total cost management including pre and post contract quantity surveying duties without supervision.
- Production of estimates from drawings. Ensure that any estimates make adequate provision for both H&S and Environmental compliance.
- Production of Quantities, rate build ups and creation of detailed estimates as part of a SOR / framework document or formation of an estimate from scratch.
- Negotiation with supply chain to facilitate agreement of packages and placing of sub-contract orders.
- Liaison with internal Project Management colleagues.
- Project cost control, monitoring and reporting.
- Account agreement with sub-contractors and clients.

- Understanding of construction techniques with a particular reference to carpentry, joinery, ceilings, partitions and finishing trades.
- Professional and pleasant personality working well in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Pro-active.
- Able to work well under pressure and manage the pressure of conflicting demands and prioritise tasks.
- To work independently as well as in a team.
- Tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality.
