Consultant Radiologist

We are seeking excellent Clinicians who thrive in the busy environment of a Radiology Department, providing our consultant of session which allows other clinical specialists direct contact with a radiologist.

Radiology at the Trust: We have plain film, CT, and MRI (provided by InHealth) at our 4 main sites: The Northumbria Specialist Hospital and the 3 General Hospitals, plus smaller radiology at community sites to support the minor injury units. The Trust has an active teaching role, and the post holder would be expected to have a modest role in the education of medical students and doctors in training. We have a Research and Development department, and research and clinical audit is encouraged within the radiology department, working with other specialties to explore new technologies and patient care linking with radiology.
