We are looking for a Sales Engineer specialising in software testing and test automation to act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects throughout the sales process. You will work closely with Account Executives to understand customer challenges, design appropriate technical solutions, and demonstrate how modern testing and automation capabilities can deliver measurable business value. This is a customer-facing role requiring a strong combination of technical automated testing or DevOps expertise, commercial awareness, communication skills, and consultative selling/advisory ability.

Location: London Area - Remote - Approx WFH 80% / Planned UK or EMEA Business Travel 20%

Package: c£75K-£100K Fixed + 20% annual Bonus + Excellent Corporate Benefits

About the Sales Engineer - Testing Role: As a Testing Sales Engineer, you will be a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to Account Executives and prospects throughout the sales cycle. You will bring the platform to life by translating complex AI, DevOps, and AgentOps concepts into compelling, value-driven presentations and narratives.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide compelling product demonstrations of test automation solutions, emphasising how AI / Robotic automated testing drives business value for customers.
  • Partner with Account Executives on enterprise sales opportunities across the EMEA region, providing expert pre-sales technical support.
  • Design and deliver tailored demonstrations and architecture presentations showcasing how the platform is leveraged across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Lead solution workshops, proofs of value (POVs), and trials that prove rapid, quantifiable ROI.
  • Respond to RFx requests and manage bid processes, articulating the company's differentiated value proposition.
  • Architect solutions that address customer-specific challenges and pain points.
  • Support and enable the company's partner ecosystem to effectively position and demonstrate the platform.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, Support, and Services to drive customer success and upsell opportunities.
  • Represent the company at field events, industry conferences, and customer briefings across the region.
  • Contribute to sales strategy and build lasting relationships with key technical customer stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in computer software, information technology, or services, within an Automated Testing / Dev Ops capacity.
  • Intimate understanding of test automation and the SDLC.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, and Cypress.
  • Customer Advisory / Consulting skills.
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end SDLC processes, testing methodologies and frameworks, and test architecture including asset modularity.
  • Capacity to build trust and relationships with customers, Sales Engineering and Sales teams, and across the organisation.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g. CRM, ITSM, or similar).
  • Familiarity with AI agents, AgentOps concepts, or agentic AI frameworks.
  • Background in data integration, data privacy requirements, or compliance-driven delivery.
