A market-leading and highly respected UK electrical distribution group is looking for a talented and driven Lighting Design Engineer to join their Central Region team. You'll be joining a business with a nationwide network of over 250 branches and a proud history dating back more than 200 years. The Opportunity

  • Produce detailed internal and external lighting designs using specialist software such as DIALux, Relux and AutoCAD.
  • Deliver compliant solutions across a wide range of projects including highways, infrastructure, commercial and industrial schemes.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, architects and internal sales teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site surveys and provide technical advice to ensure buildable, practical solutions.
  • Provide technical support and contribute to the development of junior team members.

This is a varied role offering a mix of office-based design work, site visits and hybrid working flexibility.

  • A qualification in an electrical or building services discipline is preferred.
  • Membership of a professional body such as the Institute of Lighting Professionals would be advantageous.
