A well-established distributor of data networking products is looking for an experienced Internal Sales & Business Development Manager to join their successful team in Milton Keynes. In this role, you’ll be building strong relationships with B2B customers, growing existing accounts, re-engaging dormant ones, and identifying new sales opportunities within a specialist market. With over 40 years of industry expertise, the business you’ll be joining supplies cutting-edge products to the electrical wholesale market, data infrastructure installers, and industrial end users. They are part of an impressive, privately-owned group that already employ over 2,000 people across the UK.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Proactively reach out to dormant accounts and generate new business
  • Promote and sell products to customers currently buying from competitors
  • Handle incoming enquiries, produce quotations, process orders, and follow up
  • Raise awareness of the company’s product range and brand
  • Occasionally attend external customer meetings when required

Rewards

  • Starting salary of £33,000 – £37,000 (depending on experience)
  • Uncapped bonus

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch (hours can be flexible if needed, e.g. 8:30am – 5:30pm)

  • Must have proven sales and business development experience, preferably within data networking and/or electrical wholesale markets

  • Ability to multitask, stay organised, and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
