A growing renewables distribution business is looking for a Customer Service Transport & Logistics Coordinator to join their busy team at their Middlesbrough location. This is a newly created role due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, transport coordination or customer service who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.

- Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing delivery updates and resolving queries
- Liaise with transport providers, warehouses and internal teams to ensure deliveries run smoothly
- Monitor deliveries and proactively communicate any delays or issues to customers
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls and emails relating to delivery schedules and order status
- Investigate and resolve delivery‑related problems quickly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transport bookings and customer communications
- Support the sales team by managing delivery enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Experience within logistics customer service, transport coordination or a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
