An exciting opportunity for a geologist for a leading ground investigation contractor providing expert site investigation services across the UK for over a decade. In this permanent role, you will have the opportunity to apply your geology and geoenvironmental expertise to deliver high-quality geotechnical and geo-environmental solutions for a diverse range of clients and projects.
Due to an increase in workload our client is seeking a senior geoenvironmental engineer for their Northwest office with a minimum of 2 years experience. You will be involved in the following:
- Delivery of site investigations, from initial scoping to final reporting.
- Cultivate lasting client relationships through proactive communication and reliable service.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our talented team of consultants and contractors.
Preferred Requirements:
- Lead the design and execution of site-based testing programmes, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery.
- Produce, review, and approve technical reports that meet industry and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with laboratories to manage sample logistics, testing schedules, and results verification.
- Prepare quotations and tenders for small to medium-scale projects, and contribute to larger bids and framework agreements.
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineers, technicians, and drillers through on-the-job guidance and knowledge sharing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigations, with a strong understanding of the construction and civil engineering industry.
- Proven track record in managing projects from inception to completion, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
