Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to strengthen their technical team.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of geotechnical and contaminated land projects from initial site investigation through to reporting and client sign-off. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, supervising and managing ground investigations
- Logging soil and rock in accordance with BS5930 and EC7
- Interpreting geotechnical and geoenvironmental data
- Preparing Phase I and Phase II reports
- Undertaking geotechnical assessments (foundations, earthworks, slope stability)
- Contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategy input
- Managing budgets, programmes, and subcontractors
- Liaising directly with clients, regulators, and contractors
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical development
Candidate Profile
- Degree qualified in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar
- 5+ years' relevant consultancy experience
- Strong knowledge of UK ground investigation practice and reporting standards
- Experience in both geotechnical and contaminated land projects desirable
- Commercial awareness and client-facing experience
- Full UK driving licence
