Our client is a renowned engineering firm with over 185 years of experience, seeking a talented Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The opportunity to work on challenging infrastructure projects around the world.
- Lead and deliver high-quality geotechnical engineering assignments in the UK and overseas
- Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to drive the success of complex projects
- Contribute to the growth and development of clients' global presence
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis and design, including the use of software such as PLAXIS, SlopeW, and WALLAP
- Proven experience in managing assignments, overseeing technical delivery, commercial aspects, financial controls, planning, and troubleshooting
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their professional development and implementation of best practices
- Expertise in ground investigation, data interpretation, and advanced numerical modeling
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and other relevant industry standards, contracts, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Civil engineering degree with a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical or engineering geology-related subject
- Chartered engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation
- Extensive international and site experience, predominantly in large-scale (£100m+) infrastructure projects across various construction market sectors
