Due to an increase in workload we are currently seeking a senior ground investigation/project manager to work on ground investigation projects.

Job Description

Our client delivers excellence to our customers by recruiting and retaining the very best industry talent. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent awareness of ground investigation specifications, procedures, techniques, British Standards and codes of practice
  • 5-10 years plus of UK industry experience plus leading a small delivery team
  • Ability to plan, supervise and programme multiple Ground Investigation projects, including £1M+ sized projects
  • Responsibility and accountability for the financial control and technical quality of projects from award to completion
  • Development and maintenance of existing and new business in conjunction with the Operations Manager
  • Training of new and existing staff in all matters of site investigation, in conjunction with the Operations Manager

Essential for this role:

  • Ground investigation experience
  • Background knowledge in geotechnical or engineering geology
  • Worked on UK projects
  • Good understanding of Project Management within the field of ground engineering
