Due to an increase in the workload our client is seeking a principal geotechnical engineer to join their highly skilled Ground Investigation team, you\’ll play a vital part in shaping the future of construction projects across the UK. With your expertise in geotechnical, geology, site investigation, interpretive report writing, and ground investigation, you\’ll be the driving force behind the technical and organisational aspects of our projects.

- Oversee multiple projects in the reporting stage, supervising the technical aspects and writing factual and interpretative reports.

Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrate a strong command of geotechnical, geology, site investigation, interpretive report writing, and ground investigation techniques.
- Proficient in supervising and mentoring soil and rock logging, in-situ testing, and sampling in accordance with industry standards.
- Experienced in checking and issuing factual reports and AGS data to clients, as well as conducting quality investigations and technical audits.
- Skilled in providing technical memos, training, and feedback to junior staff to support their professional development.
- Adept at putting the client at the centre of all decisions, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost care and attention.
