An opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior geoenvironmental engineer to join a growing consultancy team. The role will suit a technically strong consultant with broad experience in contaminated land and risk assessment, who is comfortable leading projects, managing clients and supporting the development of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver contaminated land projects, including site investigation and remediation
- Provide high-level technical input on complex and large-scale schemes
- Design, implement and verify environmental remediation works
- Manage client, regulator and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery
- Contribute to business development and manage key client accounts
- Produce high-quality, technically robust and commercially focused reports
- Support and mentor junior staff, encouraging professional development
- Degree qualified (or higher) in a relevant science-based discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in contaminated land consultancy
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects
- Competent with environmental risk assessment and modelling software
