In this role, you will contribute to a broad range of ongoing and upcoming projects, including major residential schemes, renewable energy installations, and several key programmes for local government authorities. As a Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of exciting initiatives, from residential developments and renewable energy projects to local government initiatives. Preferred Requirements:
- Proficiency in geoenvironmental and coal mining assessments, including Phase 1 & 2 report writing, Coal Mining Risk Assessments, Remediation Strategies, Validation Reports, and Geotechnical Assessments
- Ability to combine geotechnical assessment (bearing capacity/settlement calculations), ground gas assessments, mining studies, and the significance of measured soil and groundwater concentrations
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tackle complex environmental and geotechnical challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with the established team of engineers and directors
- Passion for making a positive impact on the projects you are involved in
