Become our next Contracts Manager and lead the delivery of ground investigation projects across our busy regional office in Glasgow. This is a key leadership role where you'll take ownership of operational performance, project delivery, and team development. You'll play an important part in shaping a positive, high-performing culture while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards. This is an opportunity to balance people leadership, commercial awareness, and hands-on project oversight, while taking pride in delivering quality outcomes for both clients and teams.

Responsibilities
- Proven experience in ground investigation, contract management, and recruitment
- Expertise in site investigation, drilling, rotary drilling, and producing factual and interpretive reports
- Strong geotechnical knowledge and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound commercial decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to championing a strong health, safety, environmental, and quality culture
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in a similar role
- SMSTS certification
Required Skills
- Proven contracts management experience within ground investigation or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing project and engineering teams
- Ability to oversee multiple projects from planning through to delivery
- Strong commercial awareness, including cost control, forecasting and profitability
- Confident communicator with strong client and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Ability to manage resources, resolve challenges and support day-to-day operations
- Coaching, mentoring and team development experience
