Our client one of the UK\βs leading private Engineering Consultancies, is seeking an experienced Chartered Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Glasgow office. As a Chartered Engineer (MICE or MIStructE) with around 2 years of post-Chartered experience, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of public and private projects, leaving a positive impact on our communities and society.
- Prepare bridge design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and other project documentation in line with company, client, and industry standards
- Utilize specialist bridge analysis software, such as MIDAS, LUSAS, and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, to undertake complex bridge modelling
- Lead the resolution of technical issues and assist with the preparation of project-related documentation
- Design in 3D modelling environments, including Revit and Civil 3D
- Attend design meetings and site inspections, fostering strong client relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in civil engineering
- Chartered professional status (MICE or MIStructE)
- Substantial structural design experience within the bridges sector and in a consultancy environment, with a preference for previous site experience
