Our Tyre Technicians play an integral role in keeping our customers moving. Bridgestone are seeking enthusiastic, determined individuals with a hunger to learn to join our team of Tyre Technicians. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Supervisor, the Tyre Technician is responsible for inspecting customer fleets and identifying, prioritising and rectifying issues in a timely manner. You will cover Slough and surrounding areas. Working hours are 37.5 hours per week (permanent) and this does not include weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly inspect customer fleets and identify, prioritise and rectify issues in a timely manner.
  • Cover Slough and surrounding areas as part of the role.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Operations Supervisor and work to established schedules.
  • Operate in a way that promotes safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • A Full UK driving authorisation
  • Punctual and reliable
  • A "can do" attitude with a passion to learn
  • Desirable: An enthusiastic attitude and reliability
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience of working to tight timescales and targets
  • Previous commercial tyre fitting experience
  • Tyre fitting experience preferred, but not essential – full training will be provided
  • The ability to use IT equipment (including laptop, tablet and mobile phone)
  • The ability to prioritise a daily workload
