Bridgestone Group are currently seeking an Estimator to join a growing and well-established construction specialist based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Estimator looking to step away from senior responsibility, or a Junior Estimator looking to develop their career within a supportive commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review architectural specifications and construction drawings
  • Undertake detailed material take-offs
  • Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and cost breakdowns
  • Build up pricing using system schedules and supplier information
  • Liaise closely with Main Contractors and supply chain partners
  • Support the handover of secured projects to the delivery team

About You

  • Previous estimating experience within the construction industry
  • Ideally familiar with systems such as Kawneer, Metal Technology, AluProf, or Technal
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Computer-literate, ideally with experience using Logikal or similar pricing software
  • Attention to detail and ability to work across multiple tenders
