Bridgestone Group are seeking a skilled and reliable Workshop Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop operation. You will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of light commercial vehicles, with additional exposure to plant and agricultural machinery. The role suits someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork.
Key Duties
- Service, inspect, diagnose and repair LCVs and light commercial vehicles in line with manufacturer and DVSA standards.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical diagnostics and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate job cards, service records and compliance documentation.
- Support repairs and maintenance on plant and agricultural machinery as required.
- Conduct annual thorough inspections, with an appreciation of industry regulations and provisions.
- Provide prompt and reliable on-site breakdown support across Wales and into England when required.
- Maintain a safe, tidy and efficient workshop environment.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, in line with health and safety regulations.
Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems would be advantageous. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload and time effectively. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Full UK driving licence.
