Bridgestone Group are looking for a Technician to join our client on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing site and play a key role in maintaining and optimising production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first response to all equipment breakdowns, diagnosing and rectifying faults promptly.
  • Record all work details in EAM and create follow-up work orders where needed.
  • Carry out planned maintenance routines on machinery and equipment.
  • Issue permits for site authorisation to work and supervise contractors when required.
  • Support product changeovers, machine optimisations, and reliability improvements.
  • Communicate effectively during shift handovers and maintain site standards for Health & Safety.
  • React quickly to breakdowns and aim for a first-time fix.
  • Ensure accurate EAM data input and proper handling of parts and repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with shift crews and day teams to resolve issues.
  • Promote preventative maintenance culture and assist in operator training.

Shift Pattern: Day Shift Monday to Friday

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a technician or maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within a FMCG environment desirable.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills (electrical and mechanical).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and personal development.
  • Relevant technical qualifications preferred.
