A highly respected, family‐run construction and development contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the housebuilding phase of a flagship residential development in Pembrokeshire. You will be responsible for the successful day‐to‐day management of the housebuilding delivery, ensuring outstanding standards of quality, safety, programme and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the housebuilding phase and drive construction progress
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and directly employed labour
  • Prepare short‐term look‐ahead programmes aligned to the master programme
  • Oversee digital site records: QA, daily diaries, H&S inspections and documentation
  • Manage quality inspections, snagging and client sign‐off
  • Support design queries, buildability reviews and technical coordination
  • Ensure strict adherence to company health & safety procedures
  • Assist with procurement schedules and NEC3 reporting
  • Liaise with Building Control, Structural Warranty providers, Clerk of Works and client representatives
  • Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism on site
Experience & Qualifications Required
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills
  • Confidence using tablets/iPads and digital QA systems
  • Knowledge of modern building regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour
  • Strong communication and problem‐solving ability
  • Good awareness of H&S legislation and site best practice
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS (Manager/Advanced)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor (advantageous)
  • Fire Marshal (advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence
