Bridgestone Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its Peterborough site. You will play a key role in supporting production by reducing downtime, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently.
Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you will:
- Work closely with production to minimise downtime
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
- Investigate and diagnose breakdowns and performance losses
- Record repair activity and identify recurring issues
- Ensure spare parts, tools and materials are readily available
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
Shift Pattern: Nights; Sunday to Thursday- 10pm to 6am
Salary: £53,000 per annum package includes shift allowance & overtime premium
Experience Required:
- Experience in a maintenance engineering environment
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred, though time-served engineers will be considered
