About the Role
Bridgestone Group are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer based in South Wales, who are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and manage the maintenance function within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with production goals
- Ensure safe operations and product quality at competitive costs
- Drive proactive maintenance policies to maximize plant uptime
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage asset lifecycle to optimize cost of ownership
- Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Coordinate major outages and monitor maintenance KPIs
- Lead and develop the maintenance team through training and performance reviews
Shift Pattern: Day Shift, Monday to Friday
