About the Role

Bridgestone Group are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer based in South Wales, who are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and manage the maintenance function within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with production goals
  • Ensure safe operations and product quality at competitive costs
  • Drive proactive maintenance policies to maximize plant uptime
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage asset lifecycle to optimize cost of ownership
  • Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Coordinate major outages and monitor maintenance KPIs
  • Lead and develop the maintenance team through training and performance reviews

Shift Pattern: Day Shift, Monday to Friday
