Bridgestone Group are representing a long-established and rapidly growing manufacturing business within the building products sector. The company supplies high-quality, bespoke products to commercial and architectural clients and is entering an exciting phase of expansion. They are now seeking a Commercial Team Manager to lead their internal sales function, drive business development, and support long-term commercial strategy.

Key Duties:- Lead and support the internal sales team in developing business with existing and new customers.
- Support the introduction and promotion of new products.
- Manage and mentor the Internal Sales & Admin Teams.
- Improve conversion rates, customer targeting and overall sales performance.
- Oversee credit limit reviews, customer satisfaction, complaint resolution and payment performance.
- Ensure customers receive an excellent start-to-finish experience.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on annual sales budgeting.
- Develop KPIs and metrics to track commercial performance.
- Support year-on-year growth targets.
- Work with senior leaders across operations, finance and production to align 5-year business goals.
- Improve internal systems and CRM processes to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure the team adheres to all relevant industry regulations.
- Develop and improve commercial policies and procedures.
- Coach, mentor, and upskill team members.
- Build commercial capability and support staff to achieve performance targets.
- Provide product knowledge support to the sales function.
- Liaise with suppliers and support internal training where needed.
- Experience in sales leadership, commercial management or an equivalent role.
- Strong ability to analyse performance, identify improvements and drive results.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Experience working with KPIs, pipelines and performance metrics.
- Confident leader with a coaching mindset and a collaborative approach.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or building materials is highly advantageous.
